Tuition and Campus Fees

The cost of attending California State University, Fullerton consists of paying the state fees (also known as resident tuition fees) in addition to university campus-based fees. The drop-down menus below display the fees of various programs offered by CSUF. Non-resident tuition may also apply to out-of-state students as well as international students.

Tuition Fees are not calculated on a per-unit basis.  Enrollment and tuition costs are defined by either Part-Time (0-6 units)  or Full-Time (7+ units).

If you are not a resident of California, you must add $396.00 for each unit enrolled in your registration and tuition fees. The non-resident tuition fee schedule table below reflects non-resident tuition fees for up to 12 units.

The Professional Program Fee is paid on a per unit basis in addition to the registration and tuition fees for the following current graduate business programs:

Majority of the Summer 2018 Programs are being administered through University Extended Education - Self-Support Programs. Only selected programs are offered through State-Support.

Non-Resident Tuition Fees is applicable to to following State Support Programs ($396.00 per semester unit)

If you are not a resident of California, you must add $396.00 per unit(s) enrolled to your registration and tuition fees  in addition  to the regular State Fees. The fee schedules below reflects total fees and tuition for up to 18 units. CSU Fullerton also has mandatory campus fees required for all students.

 Summer Non-Resident Tuition Fees are applicable to these groups:

  • Selected Graduate and Other Post Baccalaureate Programs
  • Education Doctorate Program
  • GEOL 481A, MATH 531T,  and MATH 586
  • All Nursing Majors (Including Doctor of Nursing Practice)

 


 

Graduate Professional Fee - $270 Per Semester Unit for State Support Programs

The Graduate Business Professional Fee is paid on a per unit basis in addition to the registration and tuition fees for the following  current graduate business programs:

  • Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.)
  • Master of Science (M.S.) program in Accountancy
  • Master of Science (M.S.) program in Information Systems
  • Master of Science (M.S.) program in Taxation

Campus-Based Fees 

These fees are charged every semester for all students enrolled in classes, including but not limited to: part-time students, full-time students, online students, out-of-state students, study abroad students.

Student Involvement and Representation Fee (SIRF)

The optional $2.00 SIRF is not included in the total Campus-Based Fees for fall and spring semesters. It is not considered a mandatory campus fee and students can opt-out of the SIRF on their student portal.

Chancellor's Office

The cost of attending a CSU campus can vary from year to year. All students pay the basic systemwide tuition based on student level: undergraduate, credential, graduate or doctoral. In addition, non-resident students pay a per-unit fee, and students enrolled in some graduate business programs have a per-unit fee. These base costs do not include campus mandatory fees Opens in new window or other expenses like housing.
