There is a $55.00 non-refundable fee to apply to the University.
Why am I being billed for the admission application fee? I have decided not to attend CSUF.
The application fee is nonrefundable and students are responsible for that fee once an application is submitted. If the student does not follow through with the process or changes his/her mind in attending the school, the fee is still applicable. Please refer to the instructions and guidelines for the application process at Admissions and Records or the application booklet. For more information, you may contact the Admissions and Records Office to see if they can hold your application for another semester.
Applicants are required to include their correct social security numbers (taxpayer identification numbers) in designated places on applications for admission pursuant to the authority contained in Section 41201, Title 5, California Code of Regulations, and Section 6109 of the internal Revenue Code. The University uses the social security number to identify the student for purposes of financial aid eligibility and disbursement and the repayment of financial aid and other debts payable to the institution. Also, the Internal Revenue Service requires the University to provide taxpayer information that includes the student’s social security number. See 1098-T information for more detail.
