Students who have been awarded enough estimated financial aid to cover
the cost their fees, will not be required to pre-pay. This is because
their fee payment deadline date is extended until their financial
aid is posted to their account. Their fees will be paid by their financial
aid when their financial aid is posted to their account just before
the semester begins. You may contact the Financial Aid Office at 714-278-3125
for more information on your award status or email them at fa@fullerton.edu.
You are responsible for your registration fees. If your financial
aid award becomes unavailable for ANY reason, or is insufficient
to pay for fees as initially anticipated, you must pay the balance
immediately upon notification. You can view your account balance
at TITAN Online under “Financial Statement.” It is your
responsibility to ensure that registration fees are paid in full.
You may pay on TITAN Online.
At the completion of your TITAN registration, if your financial
aid award is insufficient to pay your fees, you will be notified
of the amount due and the due dates. Refer to “Fee
Payment Instructions” to make your payment.
Any financial aid fund that has been accepted by you, with the
exception of Federal Work-Study (FWS), is available to be applied
towards your fee payment. Acceptable funds are:
State University Grant (SUG)
Education Opportunity Program Grant (EOP)
Cal Grant A or B
Federal Pell Grant
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG)
Federal Perkins Loan
Federal Subsidized Loan
Federal Unsubsidized Loan
Scholarships
If you are offered a Federal Stafford Loan to cover your fee charges,
you must accept the loan by submitting a “Loan Request”
form to the Office of Financial Aid. Loans not accepted within 30
days of awarding will be cancelled and you will be responsible for
immediate payment of any unpaid fees. If you accept the
loan and your funds HAVE NOT been received by the University for
posting to your account by Census Date you will be required to pay
your fee obligations from your own funds.
If your lender sends your Federal Stafford Loan funds to the University
in a hard-copy check rather than through electronic fund transfer
(EFT), the University cannot directly apply your loan check to the
balance due on your student account. When you pick up your loan
check at Student Financial Services, UH-180, you must submit your
payment for your outstanding balance at that time. (Click on PAYMENT
OPTIONS for acceptable methods of payment.)
Students are not able to apply their Financial Aid to parking permits.
Students must purchase permits on their own at TITAN Online
(you will need your Student ID number and PIN).
